The golf course in Bad Kleinkirchheim
Whether for beginners or advanced players, the golfing facilities at Bad Kleinkirchheim are among the most well known in Austria. The 18-hole championship course, the “Kaiserburg”, designed by Don Harradine on 60 hectares offers more or less everything your golfing heart desires.
Based on a classic figure of eight loop, golfers will delight in its wide fairways, fast greens and very diverse holes. Even in the hot summer months there’s a cool pleasant climate up here in the mountains.
The sporting hotel Kolmhof is, of course, the founding hotel for the golf course at Bad Kleinkirchheim!
By the way:
Bad Kleinkirchheim is the home of Franz Klammer. Hole number 5 is parallel to the finishing line of the Franz Klammer K70 downhill run upon which the “king of the mountain” won his first European Cup race.
